For twenty years, Greg Hind toured the world with Little River Band. They have sold over 30 million records and had ten singles reach the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Greg was involved in writing and recording ten albums with Little River Band along with helping the band secure the Casino Musical Entertainer of the Year award at the Annual G2E Awards in Las Vegas. Hind’s guitar, vocals and musical arrangements were the backbone of the band’s live performances.
Hailing from Australia, Hind got his start at a young age. At just 18 years old, he toured with the Australian band Skidrow. Upon returning from the road, he joined Melbourne’s premier band Network for six years. His time in Network catapulted the next phase of his career as a commercial jingle singer. Greg has sung in over 500 commercials, television and movie soundtracks, most notably lending his voice to the theme from the sitcom Neighbors which was broadcast in 70 different countries.
In between his time on the road, he served as the vocal director for In Melbourne Tonight, a major Australian late night television show, singing with stars like Wayne Newton and Thelma Houston. In the studio, Greg worked with Australian music icons and ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) Hall of Famers Kylie Minogue and Tina Arena. Greg was also a proud member of the Australian pop group Bachelor Girl, who’s debut single Buses and Trains reached platinum status and was a Top 10 hit in Australia and New Zealand.
After a life on the road in major arenas and concert halls, it is just Greg, Dave and a guitar singing all your favorite Little River Band and Yacht Rock classics in an intimate, stripped down, up close and personal setting. It is that connection with the audience and that darn Australian accent that makes Hind one of the most endearing performers to come from down under
